In this bold and provocative design you will find two reservoirs with bellows fixed at the ends of a glass capillary through which two fluids flow; one coloured, the other transparent. When the left-hand bellows, known as the active bellows, is compressed, the right-hand bellows expands, and vice-versa, causing the fluids to move in the capillary. As the hours pass, the coloured liquid moves forward. When it reaches 18.00, it returns to its original position. The watch mechanism is used to activate this system. The hand-wound movement drives a cam, pushing the piston, which then moves the active bellows.
